About Mark
I have a B.Sc. in Chemistry, an M.Sc. in Scientific Instrumentation, and a Ph.D. in Minerals Engineering, and over 10 years work experience in academia, including giving seminars and tutorials on a software system I designed. I greatly enjoy explaining concepts, and helping people to visualize information in a way that suits them.

If I'm presented with a hurdle that a student has, I try to explain things in small chunks, and in ways the student can easily visualize the connections that are needed to be made. I try and make things informal and friendly, so that there's a good flow of information and ideas between us.
