Methodology

I will adapt my teaching style to best suit the individual needs of the young person - using directive or non-directive methods.
I provide a warm, encouraging and non-judgemental tutoring, with an emphasis on helping young people find their own artistic flare.

Experience

I am a postgraduate student studying Art Psychotherapy with a BA Hons Fine Art offering classes to young people to help develop their knowledge in psychology. Previous experience of tutoring includes working for a SEN school and tutoring children in their artistic ability.

Rate for online lessons : £15/h

Rate for 5 hours of lessons : £70

Rate for 10 hours of lessons : £140

Cancellation is free up to before 24 hours before the appointment time. If cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment, you will be charged the FULL amount.

Work Experience:

Jigsaw School: Therapy Assistant and CABAS Teacher 1 | March 2018 – August 2019
Duties consist of running Attention Autism and SPOT groups, producing therapy notes, resourcing, admin tasks, producing timetables and making sure the therapy room is ready for every client. Providing 1:1 support making sure every client has his or her individual needs met, through building good relationships with the pupils and planning and reviewing effective support. Helping develop their social and emotional development.
