Methodology
We all learned in different ways. I promise to get to know the learning styles of each individual student and tailor my teaching methodology accordingly. I am happy to teach students one to one or in a small group.
Experience
I am a patient, caring and understanding tutor. I hold two interdisciplinary master's degrees in Women and Gender Studies from the University of Hull (UK) and the University of Oviedo (Spain), for which I received a merit. I have studied various academic disciplines, including history, philosophy, literature and social sciences at postgraduate level. I also hold a BA (hons) degree in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Hull, for which I received a 2:1. I taught English as a foreign language for eight months in Hangzhou, China. I have a 120-hour TEFL (Teaching English as a foreign language) certificate and two TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) certificates. I have experience teaching students from three to sixteen years of age. I am happy to teacher primary, secondary, GCSE and A-level students.
