About Esther
I am a postgraduate-qualified professional cellist and music educator based in Auckland. I graduated from the New Zealand School of Music with a Bachelor of Music and Postgraduate Diploma in Classical Cello Performance, receiving the Dean’s Award for Excellence. I am currently a casual cellist with the Auckland Philharmonia (APO), a cello tutor at Harpitree and Blockhouse Bay School of Music, and a private cello teacher. I am passionate about creating engaging lessons that help students of all ages develop confidence, strong technique, and a love for music.

With professional performance experience and a supportive teaching approach, I help students build confidence and a strong foundation on the cello.
