About Vincent
I am a recently graduated financial mathematician and mathematical economist who completed his postgraduate studies at The University of Edinburgh and University of Leeds. I have previously been employed as an undergraduate university tutor--responsible for planning, delivering and marking tutorials.

My teaching method varies, depending on the needs of the particular student/group. Typically, I will begin with speaking with the student to understand their particular requirements and tailor my preparation and delivery based on this. For example: I have helped students with exam revision and preparation, focusing on reviewing selected difficult topics and going through exam papers. In other cases, some students have asked me simply to review topics weekly to help their understanding. In general, however, I usually briefly review the theory and approaches to make sure students understand it well, then practise questions to make sure they can apply their understanding. To help students visualise abstract problems, I use computer software.
