About Ciara
I'm a postgraduate student studying Medieval Literature at the University of Oxford, having received a first class undergraduate degree at King's College London in English Literature. I have been a tutor for the Coronavirus Tutoring Initiative and a teaching assistant at Birkenhead School.

Unlike other subjects like maths where we might expect there to be one right answer, there is a multitude of different ways to approach a literary text and my aim is to empower students to embrace this. At GCSE level, I will ensure that students have the tools to analyse and enjoy their set texts. For A level and Undergraduate students, my focus is on polishing their skills and helping them to find their own analytical voice and preferences as they advance in their studies. I have experience as a teaching assistant and tutor. Lessons will typically last an hour.
