My method of teaching is based on an active and participative method with the student in order to make the material as interesting as possible and allow the student to more easily retain. It is also based on my personal experience and the many hours of lessons that I have already given in Belgium.
I have a Master’ Degree in Political Science with a specialization in European Studies from the University of Liège.
Indeed, I have a big interest in these problematic and more particularly in the intelligence and the security issues. I have already done a lot of work on security issues in my studies. In particular, I worked with Professor Kamal Bayramzadeh on security issues related to the Middle East and on crisis management. I have also done a lot of research with Professor André Dumoulin on the European Union's foreign policy (notably in Africa and the Middle East) and on European security and Defence policy.
I also had the opportunity to complete a six-month internship in the Belgian General Intelligence and Security Service (SGRS). Since then, I have also had the opportunity to lecture my research within the School of Intelligence and Security (IVVS) on numerous occasions. . I also participated, on selection, at the Summer School 2014 and 2015 of the Royal Military School on international security issues
I also realized a training until the end of August at the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the European Union, more specifically within the Political Security Committee and CIVCOM. My work includes following the PSC and CIVCOM meetings and preparing briefing notes and reports on security issues, participating in coordination meetings with the FPS Foreign Affairs, etc. I work especially on the civil and military CSDP missions and the problematic of peacekeeping, Rule of Law, capacity building, migrations, Security Sector Reform…
