About Maia
I'm a student and early-career researcher with a strong background in humanities and social sciences, and a year of experience delivering educational support to philosophy students.
My undergraduate background is in Philosophy and Politics (University of Edinburgh), before I moved to the Netherlands to undertake a social anthropology research project (Utrecht University), and I'm currently completing a masters degree in Social and Political Thought (University of Warwick).

As a teacher, I base my method in feminist pedagogy and its my strong belief that a successful class is one that stimulates critical thought and engagement with literature, in both the 'teacher' and the 'student'. Depending on where you are in your education, in a typical session we can expect to critically read core texts for your course/project; revise and refine exam preparation materials; or plan and research essays together.
I teach at A-level/IB and degree level.
