About Leigh
I am a committed ESL tutor with 10 years of experience teaching High School and College students. During my teaching journey, I have worked with around 150 to 200 students, helping them improve their English skills and achieve their academic goals.
My passion for education inspires me every day. I believe that English is not just a subject but a skill that can shape a student’s future. I focus on building strong foundations in grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and especially speaking.
I understand that many students feel shy or unsure while speaking English, so I create a comfortable and supportive learning environment.
One of the proudest milestones in my career has been seeing students gain confidence and actively participate in discussions and presentations. Many of my students have improved their exam scores and academic performance significantly.
My teaching style is structured, simple, and interactive. I adapt lessons according to each student’s learning speed and goals. My mission is to help students become confident English speakers who are ready for academic and professional success.

My ESL teaching methodology combines structure and flexibility. I use real-life examples and case studies to connect lessons to real-world communication. Students practise through conversations, writing tasks, and listening activities.
Motivation is part of every class. I encourage students to set clear goals and work steadily towards them. I appreciate effort and guide them to improve continuously.
Problem-solving is an important technique in my teaching. I identify learning gaps and provide targeted support. I simplify complex topics and use practical exercises for better understanding.
Integrity is essential in my professional practice. I provide honest feedback and maintain consistency in lessons. I value student trust and commitment.
Flexibility helps me customise lessons based on student needs. In addition to ESL, I teach related subjects such as spoken English, business communication, grammar correction, academic writing, vocabulary development, and interview skills.
