About Nayra
Hi! My name is Nayra, and I’m a native Spanish speaker from Spain. I recently moved to Toronto and I’m currently studying at The York School. As a student myself, I understand the challenges of learning a new language, and I know how important it is to feel comfortable and supported while practicing. That’s why my lessons are always friendly, patient, and adapted to your needs. I focus on helping you communicate naturally in Spanish—not just memorize words from a textbook. With me, you’ll practice real conversations, build confidence, and develop the skills you need to express yourself fluently. I’m dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate about sharing my language and culture. I believe that with consistency and a positive attitude, anyone can succeed in learning Spanish.

My name is Nayra, and I recently moved to Toronto from Spain.
I know that textbooks can teach you vocabulary, but real fluency comes from actually speaking and expressing yourself. You could know every word in the dictionary, but if you don’t know how to use them in real conversations, it won’t take you far.
That’s where I come in! I can help you express yourself naturally in Spanish. We’ll practice conversation, and I’ll also share useful writing tips. By simply talking and learning together, you’ll quickly feel more confident and fluent.
Don’t worry about making mistakes—I won’t judge you on how perfect your Spanish is, but on how much interest and effort you put into learning. After all, I’m also a student, and I know exactly what it feels like to learn a new language.
