About Aidan
I hold an integrated master's in civil and environmental engineering from Strathclyde University and I am currently working as a geotechnical engineer, with experience in ground investigations, geotechnical design amongst other disciplines. I have always enjoyed understanding how engineering concepts work and helping others develop their knowledge.
I want to tutor because I believe that good teaching can make difficult subjects feel much more approachable. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simpler steps and helping students build confidence in their abilities.
Through my professional experience, I can bring real-world examples into lessons and show how the theory connects to engineering practice.

I believe the best learning comes from breaking down complex topics, encouraging questions and building confidence. I tailor each session to the student’s needs, combining academic theory with real-world experience from my work as a geotechnical engineer.
