About Josh
I’ll be honest, I was one of those students who never really learned how to study properly. I spent days and nights studying just to scrape by exams. I had enough, so I developed a study system that rocketed me to the Dean's list the first year I started using it!
Now I want to help you avoid the years I spent winging it with highlighters and panic. I focus on how the brain actually learns best; using memory techniques, active recall, and creative strategies that stick.
Whether you're prepping for a big exam or just tired of rereading notes that never sink in, I’ll help you study smarter, AND LESS! I'm adaptable, patient, and your success is my priority.

Let’s face it; an hour of tutoring won’t change much, but an hour spent learning how to learn can save you hundreds in the long run. My teaching style is centered around showing students how to learn, not just what to learn.
My sessions follow a flexible structure: we usually start by recalling the last lesson, introduce a new concept, then use active recall to deepen understanding. I do, then you try, then we figure it out together.
I adapt to each student and use strategies like dual coding, storytelling, and spaced repetition to make learning easier and more effective. I enjoy learning how the brain functions in my free time (nerd?) and I apply that to every lesson.
I work with students from young children up to early college level, or anyone who just wants to study smarter. Book a session and I’ll help you learn faster, remember more, and save hours on studying.
