About Maude
I am a passionate French tutor with 19 years of teaching experience, specialising in High School and College students, and I have successfully trained around 150 to 200 students. My teaching philosophy is centred on making learning simple, engaging, and effective.
I believe that when students enjoy the learning process, they stay motivated and achieve better results. I focus on building a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary while also improving communication skills through consistent speaking practice.
I use clear explanations, structured lessons, and real-life examples to make learning easy to understand and practical. I also provide guidance for exams and assignments to help students perform well academically.
One of my key achievements is helping students who initially lacked confidence become comfortable and fluent in using French. I am committed to helping students succeed academically and develop long-term language skills.

My teaching approach for French is focused on making the language practical, engaging, and easy to understand. I strongly believe that students learn better when they can connect lessons to real-life situations. This helps students understand not just the rules, but also how to use French in daily communication.
I follow a flexible teaching style where lessons are designed based on each student’s level, pace, and personal goals. Some students may need support in exams, while others may want to improve speaking or writing skills. I adapt my teaching methods to match their needs and ensure steady progress.
Collaboration is an important part of my sessions. I encourage students to actively participate through discussions, exercises, and interactive activities. I also maintain a compassionate and friendly environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
Along with French, I also teach related subjects such as grammar fundamentals, pronunciation, listening skills, writing techniques, and cultural understanding. This complete approach helps students build confidence and become independent learners.
