About Josie
I have a Psychology degree (which had modules focusing on education, learning styles and child development) as well as level 5 TEFL qualification and phonics training (Read, Write, Inc).
I am very passionate about education and children’s mental well-being. I prioritise finding the child’s way of learning to help them learn in a way that is effective to them without causing them the stress and anxiety they may have felt during other forms of learning.

I focus on finding the method that works for each individual student to try and relieve any stress or anxiety the student may have around learning. My lessons typically last an hour but can be extended if requested.
I have a 2:1 Psychology degree with modules on learning and child development. I have worked in tuition centres and as a teaching assistant in a primary school in 1:1 and whole class settings.
I can do any primary school age but I have worked most with years 2-5.
