About Halima
I am currently studying BA (Hons) Primary Education with QTS and training to become a qualified primary school teacher. Through my university studies and school placements, I have gained experience supporting children across different year groups and abilities.
I am patient, approachable and understanding, and I believe every child learns differently. My training has given me a strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum and how to adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
I am passionate about helping children grow in confidence and achieve their full potential in a supportive and encouraging environment.

My lessons are tailored to each child’s individual needs and learning style. As a Primary Education student teacher, I understand the UK curriculum and how to support children in building both confidence and academic progress.
Sessions are structured, engaging and supportive. I focus on creating a positive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as this is key to real progress.
Lessons can include:
• Maths support (number skills, reasoning, problem-solving)
• English (reading, comprehension, spelling, grammar, writing)
• Phonics and early reading
• SATs preparation
• Homework support and revision strategies
I use interactive resources, clear explanations and step-by-step guidance to ensure children fully understand concepts rather than just memorising answers. Parents can also receive feedback after sessions to track progress.
My aim is not only to improve grades but to build confidence and a genuine understanding of the subject.
