Upon assessing a student's needs, existing knowledge and interests- I create lessons that are engaging, interesting and practically useful to the individual. I encourage hands on activities and big picture learning to ensure students gain understanding in underlying concepts rather than just procedures and memorized facts.
My experience in tutoring and classroom teaching, my sound understanding of mathematics and thorough knowledge of Australian Curriculum requirements means I am more than qualified to get students where they need to be.
