About Natalie
I used to teach my primary school children skills and techniques in the classroom but I soon discovered that they had a more detailed and fun time creating from their own imaginations and not just what the lesson plan said! I called this choice-based art making. Rest assured I will support and teach you about the art materials and how to use them but I won’t always tell you what to make, I will help you discover and use your imagination and discover your own creative joy, strengths and abilities.

My aim and hope is that you enjoy your art making, not just the finished item. I will support you to learn techniques and materials along the way but I will also give you the space to plan and create your own projects using the skills we’ve learnt and discovered together.
If you have school projects or homework that I am needed for, then I can support you with your school work too.
The boring but important bits:
-Lessons/sessions will be 45-60 minutes depending on age (additional time to be agreed with guardian)
-I have a PGCE in primary education specialising in art and science
-I have an MSc in Art Psychotherapy
-I have PVG membership
-I work with P3-P7 and S1-3
