About Clare
I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher with a genuine passion for helping children feel confident and successful in their learning. I have taught children from Nursery through to Year 6 and have extensive experience supporting a wide range of abilities and individual needs.
I am patient, approachable and encouraging, and I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, understood and proud of their achievements. I love seeing children grow in confidence and develop a positive attitude towards learning.

My lessons are friendly, engaging and tailored to each child’s individual needs. I take time to identify areas where a pupil may need additional support and build lessons around their ability, interests and learning style.
I use a range of practical, visual and interactive teaching methods to make learning enjoyable and accessible. I can support children with phonics, reading, writing, English and foundation subjects, as well as reinforce learning from school.
My aim is to build confidence as well as academic skills. I create a relaxed, encouraging environment where children feel comfortable having a go, making mistakes and celebrating their progress.
