About Linda
I am a primary school teacher and SENCo. I would like to help children succeed in reading and writing, whatever their starting points and aspirations. I am very happy to liaise with schools to support the work they are doing. I can teach face to face locally and can offer on line. I am offering over the summer 'keep up' as well, to prevent lost learning over the Summer holidays. I am quite flexible and understand that sometimes life gets in the way! I like to teach primary aged children but can also teach secondary children who are working within the primary curriculum.

Having worked with many children over the years, I treat every child as an individual, seeking to understand their learning needs, views, talents and aspirations. I have an excellent appreciation of how children learn and of how to identify and address any gaps which are hindering their progress. I also know how to encourage children to have higher expectations and give them the opportunities to reach high. As a SENCo I also appreciate the impact of special educational needs on learning and am able to deliver appropriate support to help children progress.
