About Charlotte
I am a Primary School Teacher from the UK with over 7 years of teaching experience. I graduated as a qualified teacher in 2013 and I have been teaching ever since. I absolutely love teaching especially Maths. In my last teaching role, in London, I was Year 6 class teacher and Head of Maths within an outstanding primary school. I know and understand the Australian Maths Curriculum thoroughly and I am keen to start tutoring as soon as possible.

My teaching method is building the child's confidence within themselves. I have found over the years that, especially with Maths, with built up confidence and self-belief they can tackle any mathematical problem with enthusiasm. My main philosophy is building up perseverance and that ability not to give up even when it is tricky. With Maths, the building blocks are so integral and often children who struggle with Maths are simply missing some of the basics which hold them back with any new learning. When teaching a new pupil, I strive to find out where their gaps are to ensure they are working with a strong mathematical foundation before teaching new concepts.
