About Chloe

I have loved being a class teacher and striking that incredible relationship with a class and helping each child to succeed, but am now taking a step back so that I can focus on boosting individual's learning rather than a whole class'. It has been a pleasure to have already begun this amazing journey as I have seen wonderful progress in two children that I have been privately tutoring. I have really enjoyed tailoring the learning to the child's interests and capabilities and this effort has been much appreciated by the child's parents.

About the lesson

My tutoring is for primary school aged children (5-11 years) aiming to help them in maths, reading or writing. My sessions last 1 hour where they can be done at your home or from my own.
I am a qualified primary school teacher (with QTS) who has 11 years experience in various primary schools. In this time, I have built up my own resources and strategies to allow a child that I tutor to access the learning physically and visually and in a way that matters and makes sense to them, this will include linking it to their learning from school and their own personal interests. Another focus throughout my tutoring is on developing a growth mindset so that your child can push themselves with confidence to achieve their best.
