About Ava
I'm currently studying at Princeton University, where I'm a member of the Track and Field team, competing in the heptathlon. Alongside training and competing, I'm studying History with a minor in French, so I understand how challenging it can be to balance academics with a busy schedule.
Studying at Princeton has taught me that learning isn't about getting everything right straight away. In fact, I have made so many mistakes. For me, understanding comes from asking lots of questions and talking things through. Everyone learns differently, and finding the approach that works for you can make all the difference.
I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and taking their time to understand new ideas. Whether you're working towards an exam or simply want to feel more confident in a subject, I'll support you every step of the way. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!

I believe the best way to learn a language is by using it, so I encourage my students to speak as much French as possible in every lesson. I know that everyone learns differently, so I tailor each session to focus on the areas you want to improve, whether that's speaking, listening, writing, translation, grammar, or building confidence.
I've helped students achieve great GCSE French results, as well as adults who have always wanted to learn or improve their French. I love getting to know my students and finding topics they're genuinely interested in, as this makes lessons more enjoyable and helps new vocabulary and grammar stick.
My aim is to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether you're preparing for an exam or learning French for fun, I'll help you build your confidence and reach your goals at your own pace.
