I am a Principal Power System Consultant. I provide teaching and Consulting Services in Electrical, Electronics, Maths and Physics; from GCSE up to PhD level.

Melake has helped me so much in establishing from first principles the knowledge and understanding applicable in power system design and analysis. He supplemented his teaching with interesting first hand experiences and anecdotes that solidified the underpinning knowledge and made applications relevant. Dr Melake lectured me in my BEng - Electrical and Electronic degree, he was always professional and helpful. Our time together was challenging, as took place during the onset of the pandemic however somehow overcome all the obstacles to support me in receiving a first class honours.

He was always happy to run through complex issues and break them down to allow basic principles to be understood before revisiting the question itself.

Overall a passionate and extremely professional member of the community, who I would have no issue recommending whatsoever.

Dr Melake, is a very knowledgeable teacher who always tries his best to keep the students following along and is very patient with everyone. He always answers questions in full and doesn't leave me feeling I don't understand. He's taught me for the last 2 year in high voltage power systems. Dr Melake is a fantastic teacher, he helped me understand fault current calculations for my dissertation for earthing calculations to IEEE80, he has great knowledge and is attentive. I got an A+ in this paper!
