About TongQin
I am an Elementary Education student currently going into my last year of bachelor's degree in Canada at McGill University. I am able to teach basic maths to students from preschool to year six. I have done two practicums and many school projects in this area in the last few years.

I teach based on topics, such as learning addition, subtraction, geometry, fractions, etc. However, the best approach apart from subjects, I find, is finding out where the student is at and if there is anything specific he or she is struggling with. Then we work on that, practice, and perfect it as we learn. I really enjoy teaching children the basics of math. It it not easy for them to grasp and is a challenge for both the teacher and the learner. A great mental exercise together, and also, to have some fun!
