About Frankie
I have a Master of Art degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the Spanish Language, majoring in linguistics, literature, and culture. I have also been teaching adult students from diverse backgrounds, helping them with their language acquisition needs. I have taught in public settings and privately for many years. I am a fan of teaching in a way that is fun, using a plethora of strategies and methods customized on the particular needs of each student, including traditional textbooks, videos, audio, fun activities, and even comics. I can teach in * person or online.

Classes can cover general Spanish language topics such as the history of the language, vocabulary acquisition, grammar, literature analysis and more. Even though I love it when kids learn Spanish, I specialize in teaching college students learn Spanish as a second language with a strong emphasis in understanding the cultural background of the language. I teach a neutral type of Spanish, which can be used in Europe (Spain) or in Latin America without difficulties, however, if the target student prefers a certain type of localization or a particular region due to a future business trip, we can customize the lessons to cover regional vocabulary of the country the student prefers. A small nominal fee of $10 will be added to the session if travel to the student’s location is beyond 15 miles. Classes can be conducted at the instructor’s location, the student’s location, or in a neutral location such as a public library. In addition to classes I can help you with translation, essay writing and proofing and literature analysis for your classes and homework. If you need help writing an essay for your class, I will make sure you get an "A" by guiding you not only with checking your grammar, form and structure of the essay but also with the content and Works Cited list. That is a different service which will be 30 dollars per page + plus 15 dollars for plagiarism check. I will not write the essay for you but will guide all the steps of the way for you to become a great essay writer regardless if you are an undergrad or graduate student, is the same price.

My hourly rate is flexible, based on the subject, level of proficiency, and goals for the student. Although I normally charge $40.00 per hour for adult learners and college students, I can be more flexible with high school students, depending on the project, lessons, and their involvement in customized lesson planning and strategy.
