About Jessica
I am a young, kind, caring and energetic qualified teacher of the deaf from Nottinghamshire. I have completed my BSL level 3 and intend to enroll onto a level 4 course next year. Deaf education is a real passion of mine and I love what I do.
In my spare time I also enjoy climbing, kayaking, sewing and swimming.

I am a kind and enthusiastic teacher of the deaf from Nottinghamshire. I have worked with deaf students in both primary and secondary schools, with a range of deafness, from mild to profound losses and those who are predominately oral to those who are fully BSL users. Before I was a teacher of the deaf I worked as a special education teacher, supporting non verbal students with autism.
I offer tutoring in any school subjects, from primary secondary. I particularly specialise in supporting deaf students in their language development, such as vocabulary, expressive language, humour and comprehension. I can also support with speech and language targets, audiology and personal understanding of deafness.
