About Elena
I have been teaching ever since I graduated from the Pedagogical Institute; working in schools, both abroad and in the UK, mainstream and special needs. I adapted my teaching approaches to individual learning styles of each of my pupils, using methods and activities derived from art, relaxation and energy therapies. And for the past nine years (almost a decade!) I am happy to work as a private tutor with students who inspire and motivate me to continue in my profession.

I begin by understanding who my students are and what they want to achieve; then I decide on how to measure student learning, devise study plans, identify learning objectives and prepare materials to support their study.
I tailor my lessons to suit the needs of each of my students. With learning targets in mind, I build lessons to incorporate words, phrases and terminology that the student needs; and choose resources that suit each learner best.
