About Tim
I'm an experienced Architect with over 9 years of professional experience in the architecture and design industry. I currently work at an award-winning multidisciplinary studio in Central London and have previously contributed to RIBA award-winning projects across the UK. My professional experience spans residential, hospitality and commercial office projects, as well as working on numerous listed buildings throughout my career. I've worked across all RIBA Stages, from concept development, planning applications and client presentations through to technical design and construction.
Alongside my professional work, I'm a practice mentor for the London School of Architecture (LSA) and also support colleagues at my current studio who are studying for their Part 3. I really enjoy sharing knowledge, discussing ideas and helping others develop confidence in their own design approach.
I began my architectural journey at Newcastle University, where I graduated with a First Class Honours degree. After two years at an AJ100 practice, I went on to study my Master's in Architecture at Central Saint Martins, graduating with a Distinction and receiving the New London Architecture (NLA) Prize for my thesis project. I later completed my Part 3 studies at the University of Bath, qualifying as an Architect with Distinction.
Outside of my professional work and studies, I'm a member of the Architects Climate Action Network (ACAN) and have been involved with Arch-ive since 2019. Founded by a friend and former colleague, Arch-ive explores the books and ideas that have influenced urban designers. Being part of this project has been a unique opportunity to broaden my reading and explore resources that are both directly and indirectly connected to the built environment.
Away from architecture, I'm into gaming, metal music, reading, cooking and photography. I'm a firm believer that inspiration can come from anywhere, and that some of the most interesting ideas can emerge from unexpected places. I'd love to bring that curiosity and openness into our sessions together.

I can provide a broad range of support throughout your studies, with lessons bespoke to every student. What we cover is entirely up to you. We can explore anything from software skills, 3D printing and construction detailing, to concept and narrative development, heritage and conservation, architectural references and critical theory. We can also work together on CV writing, portfolio advice and interview preparation to help kickstart your career.
I have a varied interest in architecture and design culture, with a particular passion for history, heritage, low-carbon construction and future materials. I'd love to hear about your ideas, explore them together and support you on your journey towards becoming a confident, curious and creative designer.
