About Finlay

I am a multi-instrumentalist, performer, and teacher passionate about helping students start their journey on the violin. With a background in live performance, composition, and private tuition, I bring a well-rounded and encouraging approach to music education.

I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching style to match your goals—ensuring you feel supported, confident, and excited to play every time you pick up the instrument

About the lesson

Violin can seem intimidating at first, but with the right guidance, it is incredibly rewarding. My lessons focus on building strong, healthy fundamentals without the rigid pressure.

Whether you want to learn classical pieces, traditional folk, or modern melodies, we will progress step-by-step at your pace. Every lesson is designed to make learning enjoyable while giving you practical, effective exercises to practise at home.
