About Steve
I'd had over 15 years experience as a professional illustrator before beginning my teaching practice with which I've been involved for over 10 years teaching to a wide and varied age group, these include primary schools as well as resource centres for students with mental health issues and i've also taught accredited courses in the community. Some of the students I taught have gone on to study at foundation level which in turn has seen them accepted at degree level.

I teach drawing and painting, cartooning and character design from traditional methods using pencil, brush paints and paper, right through to current software programs such as Adobe illustrator and Photoshop. I firmly believe anyone can learn to draw and paint if the desire is strong enough. I have taught all ages and people from all walks of life and seen first hand what an enriching experience this can be, students can either visit my studio for lessons or I can travel, either is fine.
