About Mark
I have been teaching, guitar , bass guitar, music theory, production and music technology for over 30 years. I have platinum and gold credits as a music producer and have performed internationally and locally for many years. I have taught students from all over the world. I have lived in the UK the USA and the Middle East for extended periods of time and this has enriched my musical understanding and music teaching approach.

I believe that each student learns in their own way. The most important thing is to recognise how to engage the student of all levels and hopefully inspire them to re-engage with their instrument on a regular basis. I have been teaching for many years and enjoy the discovery of music with my students, this leads to mutual and ongoing creativity between teacher and student. I aim to understands the students musical aspirations and build a 'course' that will focus on their specific hopes and desires while also supplying musical tools that will empower them to embrace any genre of music that may inspire them as time goes by.
We are all innately hard wired to engage with music ( a neurological fact)...the fun is seeing that talent unfold and develop in a coherent and constant manner.

I have a cancellation policy of letting me know a minimum of 24 hours before lesson. In extreme situations I will of course understand and respond accordingly.
