About Lian
Hi! My name is Lian. I’m a professional recording artist, composer, and music producer.
I've sung on TV show soundtracks, with one track receiving 1.5M+ streams on Spotify. I've been on tour in the US as part of the Star Magic: Beyond the Stars tour last 2022, singing live in theatres in New York, LA, and San Francisco. I've also been hired to sing for events and livestreams. I also hold a Master of Composition in Electronic and Produced Music (Distinction) from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
As a composer, I've made music for theatre, films, installations, and other pop artists and have often used my voice as a key instrument. One of my songs, sung by girl group BINI, was sent to the moon in 2024 as part of the Lunar Codex. My work has been seen at the BBC TV Centre, the Outernet, Camden People’s Theatre, and the Frameless Gallery in London.
I love to teach and have a passion for helping others on their journey. In my lessons you can expect to learn:
- Proper breathing technique
- How to manage your breath through a song
- How to take care of your voice
- Dynamics and emotional expression
- Take-home exercises to practice at home

When I was starting out, I wish I had someone create a roadmap for me to get me to where I wanted to go. I'm hoping these lessons will serve as your roadmap! We'll begin by figuring out your goals. Then, we'll create a plan to get you moving towards them. You'll get both technical coaching (focused on technique) and personal coaching (to master your mental game). For example, if you have stage fright, we'll go through techniques to help you tackle that. I aim to make you feel empowered and inspired after your lessons, leaving you more confident in your abilities than before.

Lian is an incredible producer and all around musician! I worked with her to compose a score for my short film, and she did a wonderful job managing the team and creating great songs. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!
I can’t recommend Lian highly enough as a music technology and music production teacher. She has an MA in Electronic and Produced Music from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and is not only extremely knowledgeable, but also a fantastic communicator who makes learning feel clear and enjoyable. She’s a talented producer in her own right and brings a friendly, supportive, and genuinely encouraging presence to everything she teaches.
