About Magdalena
I'm a cinematographer with over 8 years of professional experience in shooting documentaries, fiction films and art projects. Two short films I shot premiered at Camerimage Festival. I collaborated on a number of award-winning projects (IDFA Best Film, Shanghai International Film Festival Best Actress).

I want to work in those areas that are important to you now. I will adapt each lesson to individual needs.
If you're just getting started with the camera, we'll look at composition together, explain the rules of exposure, learn basic industry vocabulary and learn how the plan works. We'll talk about what makes your favorite movies so good and why one shot works and the other doesn't.
If you have a bit more experience - we will discuss your current projects. I will show you what to pay attention to when working with a camera, how to make better mistakes or how to prepare a unique moodboard.
I will help you master the equipment you have or choose a new one - I work with professional cameras on a daily basis, but I also often photograph with a smartphone.
I conducted workshops on searching for inspiration.
I consulted the work portfolios before submitting them for exams at film schools.
