Duration : 1 hour 30 - Price : £54.00 - Place : MilfordThe Psychology and Sociology lessons will be tailored towards A level, BETC and degree students. A adopt a flexible approach to tutoring based in learners needs. My techniques include explanation, question and answer sessions, discussions and explaining revision and examination techniques. A friendly and interactive approach is used with the learners and I am keen to maximise student interest by maintaining a topical approach to the subject area.
My approach involves planning the sessions by explaining the contents on the power point and using the interactive whiteboard where the tutor and students can list relevant points, which are developed, whether in the group setting or with one to ones either face to face or online.
I hold a B.Sc.(Hons) and an M.Sc. in the Behavioural Sciences. They are both psychology and sociology based degrees with elements of criminology and anthropology. I hold a PCGE Teaching qualification. Therefore I have the qualifications and experience to teach my subjects at the required levels of study.

Course setup
I have been giving lessons in Psychology and Sociology for over 20 years in the classroom and in private tuition on a one to one and on a group basis. My previous teaching experiences have involved GCSE, A level, BTEC, Access to HE and to undergraduate level. My class sizes have ranged from 10 to 25 students. there has been a professional and friendly relationship established which enhances and encourages learning amongst the students. As a result students have achieved up to grade A* at GCSE, A level and undergraduate level. Grades up to distinction levels have been achieved by BTEC and Access to HE students.
