About the lesson
I want my classes to be enjoyable, this is always the priority. To me music is a major factor and therefore I always make sure to choose inspiring music and sometimes not even classical especially with younger children to keep them motivated and focussed. I think it also helps the co-ordination in younger children as they could be dancing to music they know and is popular therefore the rhythm of the music is more easily found for them. One then has to deduce the level of the dancer and train them accordingly, advancing when ready.

Narissa is a great teacher, who always makes the classes enjoyable!
I’ve known Narissa for a long time and she is a highly experienced dancer, many years performing Principal roles in various countries. She is an extremely talented dancer with beautiful musicality which she brings to the classroom. Her students have to work hard but she always makes the classes enjoyable with lovely music to inspire them.
