About Sathyarajkumar
My primary qualification for teaching 3D modeling comes from real, hands-on production experience: I'm a Blender generalist who has worked across 3D animation, VFX, background art, and virtual production, and one of my films has passed QC and is now distributed on OTT platforms.
Beyond this, I also bring a creative and disciplined mindset from over 35 years as a software professional and a parallel career as a published author, screenwriter, and filmmaker in Tamil, who has worked on feature films. That combination of technical rigor and storytelling instinct shapes how I teach: patient, structured, and focused on making sure every concept genuinely makes sense before moving on.
My lessons are built for someone starting completely from zero.

My lessons follow a simple idea: you learn fastest by watching something happen and then doing it yourself, not by pausing a video and hoping you got it right. Each concept starts with a live demonstration, where you watch the action happen in Blender in real time, then you repeat it yourself while I guide you and correct mistakes as they come up.
This 4 hour course (plus one free get-to-know-each-other class) starts with the fundamentals: what the viewport is, the difference between an object and its mesh, and what a vertex, edge, and face actually are. From there, we build a real project step by step, extruding shapes, applying modifiers, cutting and shaping geometry, hollowing out a solid object, building a working hinge, and finishing with proper UV mapping and texturing.
By the end, you'll have modeled, textured, and finished a real 3D object yourself, not just followed along with someone else's tutorial.
What sets me apart is real industry experience: I'm a Blender generalist who has worked across 3D animation, VFX, backgrounds, and virtual sets, and one of my feature films has passed QC and is now distributed on OTT platforms.
This course is designed for absolute beginners with no prior experience with Blender or 3D software, who are looking for a
tutor-led foundation course.
