About Matthew
I am a professional cellist and teacher based in Manchester. I am a graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and the Royal Northern College of Music, where I gained my Masters degree in Cello Performance. As a cellist, I perform with a variety of ensembles in a range of styles. As a teacher, I work for the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Opera North. I am also a tutor for Yorkshire Young Musicians. My students acheive Distinctions in Music examinations and several have gone on to acheive scholarships at many of the Uk's conservatoires.
