About Deya
Hello I am a professional cellist with more than 27 years of performing and teaching experience. I hold degrees in music performance from both American and European Universities. I have performed as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral cellist in the US and Europe. I teach students of all levels and ages, preparing them for concerts, auditions and exams. My goal is to help each student grow confidently and enjoy playing the cello

My teaching style is strictly personalised, focusing on each player's goals and level. Each lesson focuses on building technical foundation such as posture, left hand and right hand technique. I use focused exercises and repertoire for the technical part. We also focus on musical expression and interpretation. Ear training and basic music theory can be included when helpful. Regardless of whether a student wants to audition or play for fun, my goal is to inspire a love for cello and music
