About Carys
I grew up in South Wales and trained with Gwent Music. Through their peripatetic lessons and joining the bands and orchestras I honed my musical craft. I then went to train at Rose Bruford in acting in music. And since then have been working professionally as an actor and musician since across the West End, tours and regional theatre.

I’m a professional clarinet player and I’ve used my music skills in West End, Olivier award-winning shows. I got here through my lovely music tutors taking me through my grades, and I’d love to keep that going for the next generation.
I teach children and adults at beginner and intermediate level. We can look at going through grades or just learning for fun! My sessions are relaxed as I try to inspire fun and creativity and a commitment to practise.
