About Iain
As a professional musician and rehearsal pianist from the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London for 20 yrs, I have been in every conceivable musical situation. working with the greats(Pavarotti, Domingo, Te Kanawa, Natrebco_singers, et al, to Guilliame, Bussle,Cope, Kumakowa, et al dancers from the Royal Ballet), to International Conductors, Designers, Choreographers, Lighting Peeps and Directors, my aim is to give a breathing living reality to a music degree or diploma or RSM grade. I teach singing, have conducted both opera and ballet, and have written music for two ballet companies and the BBC!

Having been a living working Rehearsal pianist, Singing teacher, Vocal Coach, Chorus master and Conductor, I have a wealth of hands on experience to pass on to the next generation of eager Students and Pupils. Every person is an individual and so particular lessons have to be geared towards that persons' aims and asperations and not some rambling nonsense of "One size fits all" ! I spent 20yrs as a Repetiteur in the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London, and worked with the best in the world!

Perfect! Fantastic, Iain was spot on and explained alot
Perfect! Iain is an excellent tutor. He has made an enormous difference to my singing technique but more importantly to my confidence. He tailors lessons to my unique needs, and makes them fun. He is supportive and encouraging whilst also pushing me to improve all the time. He's brilliant.
