About Alexandra
I've recently just graduated from the Royal College of Music London with First Class Honours as a Yehudi Menuhin Scholar. Previously, I studied for nine years at the Purcell School for Young Musicians, and have performed in major venues across the UK and beyond, including Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Barbican and St Martin-in-the-Fields. I have years of experience with solo, chamber and orchestral performance, and was recently a Strings Finalist in the 2024 Tunbridge Wells Music Competition.

One of the most important aspects for me is to tailor each lesson to the individual level and aspirations of the student, whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced player. I am completely open to discuss what your aims are for the learning process, and to work with you so that you get the most out of your violin lessons!
I aim to create a friendly and engaging learning environment, giving my students a diverse and rounded knowledge of music, with an emphasis on good, solid technique and developing creatively.
