About Sala
I’m a professional drummer and music educator with over 25 years of experience in performing and teaching music. My main background is in jazz and progressive rock, but I’ve played and worked with musicians across a wide range of styles including rock, funk, blues, metal, and contemporary music.
Alongside performing regularly with different bands and music projects, I’ve been teaching drums and guitar in primary schools, music schools, and privately.
What I enjoy the most about teaching is sharing my passion for music and helping students develop their own musical voice. I believe every student learns differently, and I always try to create a relaxed, supportive, and encouraging environment where they can build confidence, improve their skills, and, most importantly, enjoy making music.

My Drum Lessons are tailored to each student's level, interest, and musical goals, from complete beginners to more advanced players.
I focus on developing solid technique, rhythm, coordination, reading music, improvisation, and musical confidence. We can explore a variety of styles, including pop, rock, funk, blues, jazz, and metal.
I believe learning drums should be both enjoyable and rewarding, with a balance of structured practice and playing the music you love.
Lessons are available at my home studio in Wheeler Hill, equipped with acoustic and electronic drum kits. I can also travel to students' homes if required.
