About Максим
I am a professional drummer and music producer with more than 20 years of experience playing and performing professionally.
I have worked with different artists and projects and have experience performing live, recording in the studio and working across a wide range of musical styles, including jazz, funk, hip-hop, fusion and contemporary music, pop, house, disco.
As a tutor, I focus on creating a relaxed and encouraging environment where students can learn at their own pace while building strong musical foundations. I believe that learning drums should be both productive and enjoyable.
Whether you are completely new to drums or already have some experience, I will adapt the lessons to your individual goals and help you develop your technique, timing, coordination, groove and confidence behind the kit.
My aim is to help every student become a more confident and musical drummer while enjoying the process of learning.

I teach drums through a practical, engaging and personalised approach, adapting each lesson to the student’s age, level and musical interests.
Lessons combine technique, rhythm, coordination, groove, fills, timing and playing along with music. For beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation and making the instrument enjoyable from the first lesson. For intermediate students, we can work on developing their technique, vocabulary, musicality, improvisation and confidence.
I have been playing drums for more than 20 years and have extensive experience as a professional drummer, performing and recording in different musical styles, including jazz, funk, hip-hop, fusion and contemporary music.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although shorter lessons can be suitable for younger children. I can teach beginners, intermediate players and students of different ages, including children and adults.
My goal is not simply to teach exercises, but to help students understand how to use the drums musically, develop good habits and enjoy making music.
