About Herbie
As a well seasoned working drummer I have a degree in Professional Musicianship. Since 2017 I have been regularly gigging and have played across Europe including at the o2 Ritz (Manchester), the Melkweg (Amsterdam), Under Athens Association (Athens), o2 ABC (Glasgow). I have played with a large variety of acts including Luke Royalty, who is a pop singer who has has regular Radio 1 air time, In Evil Hour who are a Hardcore punk band, Pleo who are progressive metal, Dolphin Centre who are a Indie band, and Stan the Collective who are a modern Jazz / Hip Hop band.
Before playing with the artists mentioned above, I started my drumming journey by taking private lessons. About a year later I was gigging with an reggae band in my home town as well as playing with a traditional Jazz Orchestera.
I started teaching freinds whilst studying at university, which is where I discovered that my passion for all kinds of music extended to teaching it also.

I am teaching I love sharing my passion and I am proud to be offering drum lessons just outside of Manchester's city centre, a short walk from Piccadilly train station. Lessons are taught one to one in person and no equipment is required, as I provide a full drum kit. No sticks, no problem! There are no hidden fees with the service, as everything is included in the hourly rate.

Details
I charge £25 an hour for in person lessons at my drum space in Ardwick near the city centre. These lessons currently take place on Thursdays and Sundays. Other days of the week I can travel to students homes and these lessons cost £30. Everything is included in the price and there are no hidden fees. I the first lesson is always free so with no obligation to take any more if unsatisfied with the lesson.
