About Thomas
Hi! I’m Thomas Dunk, a professional drummer and educator with over 15 years of experience behind the kit. I hold a First-Class degree in Music Performance from LCCM, a Trinity Diploma in Drum Kit, and finished my Grade 8 in Drums in 2021. As a session musician based in London, I’ve performed at venues like Ronnie Scott’s, Troxy, the London Jazz Festival, Moth Club, Soho House, and Y Not Festival, working with a wide range of artists across different styles.

Students have described me as a patient tutor with a mindful and methodical approach to teaching drums. Whether you want to follow Rockschool or Trinity grades or simply have fun learning your favourite songs, I tailor lessons to your goals. I teach everything from how to play a simple rock groove to advanced theory concepts, so no matter your age or skill level, I'm here to help. I have a few years of teaching experience, I am DBS checked and NSPCC Child Protection for Tutors, so feel assured that lessons take place in a safe and supportive environment.
