About Keith
"I find teaching drums and rhythm to be a key part of my own practice as a player. Working through the challenges and discoveries with a student feels to be a vital part of keeping the tradition and culture of music alive.
So much amazing information is available online today, and the direct input and guidance from a tutor can be invaluable with developing drumming skills and finding 'your own sound'.
Teaching in a range of settings, from individual tuition to leading workshops, I find it an honour to be able to share my own experience with the students."

Keith focuses on the fundementals of pulse, beat and time across a range of levels, contemporary music styles and genres, looking to establish a solid base in technique, and to develop independance, flexibility and spontanaeity in playing.
Teaching drums, rythmn, and jazz studies at Falmouth University for over ten years, Keith has taught in several specialised music schools internationally.
Lessons are available for for beginer and intermediate students 12 years old +
Face to face lessons can be in 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions.
