About Jacob
I teach my students that learning to write is about growing one step at a time. Many young folks are really concerned with getting good grades, but the work to get there feels overwhelming. With me, we are going to break down the writing process so that you set and reach goals for improvement, without overlooking that you already have a voice and your own strengths as a writer.

I work with the thinkSRSD program, and develop lessons around the writing process. These lessons are good for students from ages 10+
My approach is to coach students through the writing process from planning and preparing to write, all the way to revising and publishing their work. I use strong examples and align with students' interests/academic needs, and relevant learning outcomes.
