About Simon
I am a qualified electrical tutor currently teaching at one of the country’s leading electrical training colleges. I’ve worked with a wide range of learners, from apprentices just starting out to adult learners returning to education.
I got into teaching because I genuinely enjoy helping people understand the subject and gain confidence in their abilities. Electrical can feel overwhelming at times, especially with the amount of theory and regulations involved, and I like being the person who can break it down and make it all click.
My aim is to create a relaxed, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. There’s no pressure or judgement — just clear explanations, practical examples, and steady progress.

I provide relaxed, one-to-one online tutoring designed around you. Every student is different, so I adapt my teaching style to suit how you learn best.
I help students:
• Understand difficult theory in plain English
• Prepare for exams and mock tests
• Improve portfolio and written work
• Gain confidence with inspection & testing
I’m patient, easy to talk to, and focused on making sure you actually understand the topic — not just memorise it. Many students come to me feeling stuck or overwhelmed, and leave feeling confident and in control of their studies
