My name is Hannah! In addition to being a professional teacher with four years of experience, I am also a language learner!! So I know the struggles of learning and have a lot of compassion for my students. That's why I like to keep the classroom fun with lots of games and activities! I like to make my classrooms fun and to make learning like a game! Nobody likes learning in a boring repetitive way, so I like to include a lot of activities and games in my classes! That makes the hour pass quickly! Scientific studies show that when you're interested and having fun you are more likely to remember what you learned.
I have course books for regular everyday English, business English and for children.
Although I like to tailor my lessons to fit each individual student, a typical everyday English lesson plan would look like this:
-We start off the lesson with a warm-up game and casual conversations.
-We review the words from the previous lesson through a quiz.
-We move into the main part of the lesson which could consist of grammar or vocabulary learning.
-We put into practice what we learned whether it's vocabulary or grammar, we do this through activities.
-We assign a small portion of homework according to the student's circumstances. And then we finish the class!
