About Shane
I am a teacher with nearly a decade of classroom experience. I have spent five of those years teaching English as Second Language in the United Arab Emirates. Over those years I have taught hundreds of students and have achieved above average pass rates consistently with all of my classes.

I have primarily worked with young adults at the secondary level in classroom setting, but have also worked with clients of various ages in a one-on-one setting. My techniques for teaching English primarily follow the communicative approach while also using a structured guidelines. This means that my students spend time learning the technical aspects of the language but also have plenty of opportunities to practice using it in authentic and engaging ways.

Details
I ask for a flat $20/hour for students regardless of their level. I require an additional $5 for travel. Given the current health situation, online tutoring will be the best and most flexible option. I have nearly a year of experience with remote language teaching so the quality of the lesson will be exactly the same!
